Welcome to the NPS Lodge! The Lodge is a two story farm house in South West North Dakota with an abundance peace and quiet; the nearest neighbor is a mile away. The farm house has been remodeled from top to bottom. We have sleeping accommodations for six; with two full size beds and six twin beds available. The NPS Lodge is perfect for pheasant, deer and antelope hunters . There are good boating /fishing lakes a short drive away. The accommodations are great for groups, like family vacations or family reunions. Bucyrus is 4.9 miles North; Hettinger is 8 miles; Dickinson is a 1 hour drive and Rapid City and Sturgis, SD is 3.5 hours. Hettinger has a regional airport and Dickinson has commercial airline service.

This little house is located just 15 miles from the Maah Daah Hey trailhead and the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Trail access points are just minutes away. It's the perfect location to base camp and set out on a new adventure every day. Whether you are hear to tour, hunt or fish, this is a great central location for all of it! The tourist town of Medora is only 55 minutes away. It is very much a tiny house, but the view is nice off the front porch. If all you need is a good night rest and a short shower (like 5 min. is as long as the hot water lasts)this is just what you are looking for! A half bath with shower and a fully stocked kitchen takes up one half of the home with a hot plate, microwave and fridge included. The other half is where the beds are located. Guests are welcome to relax around the firepit when fire danger is low. It is an easy location to disconnect from the world as there is no wifi or television. Washer and dryer of owner may be accessed if needed.
